I was there a few years ago. The Blackstone was a great place to eat. It's also a microbrew.

If you like comedy clubs, Zanies is a good place as they usually have some good talent there. Drinking wise, downtown between 2nd and 7th street has tons of bars. If you like hockey, I'd highly recommend going to Bridgestone arena to watch the Predators if they have a game there (since the playoffs are about to start next week) as that arena gets very loud. As for places to eat, there's a place called Ted's Montana Grill that has some really good food.

it was recommended that we go to Bluebird Cafe and to Roberts Western World, which I am going to do my best to do. Also, Station Inn for some bluegrass.

Good luck getting into the Bluebird... I hope you like waiting in line.

Where do you plan on staying?

Yes but still well worth seeking out.

@ill There's also the Nashville Sounds if you like minor league baseball. The stadium is still fairly new and looks a lot better than the old, very outdated one that I went to six years ago. They will be at home next weekend against Omaha.

Yeah, the Sounds new ballpark is 10x better than their old dump. They have a pretty nice outdoor bar area at the end of right field. I need to catch a game sometime again.

I saw Steven Tyler perform at the Ryman not too long ago. It's not a very big place so not really a bad seat in the house.
