He played well for Seattle, PFF graded him above average. Vikes will go down to like $10M a year if they sign Cousins for that amount and Richardson, wow... but I guess they're all in.

Sucks that we gave up a 2nd and are going to get nothing in return (don't believe we get compensatory).

Above average while adjusting to a new scheme. Felt like he improved as the season went on. $15m is really too much.
Yeah, that's about where I am at. I think he could be really good on the right team. But at 15M you got to say no. 11M I'd do all day.

Let him walk, sign Suh ... Suh is WAY better than Richardson, if you're gonna put money out that's the better way to go, Suh demands double teams, Sheldon doesn't ... I also heard if Sheldon get's signed by another team we get some picks for it...

If the Seahawks don’t sign or franchise Sheldon Richardson, they could net two third-round picks, a fifth-round pick and a sixth-round pick based on some of my estimates of what some of the Seahawks free agents could get if they leave in free agency. The most a team can get is four compensatory picks as long as they lose four or more free agents than they sign. John Clayton

Well they only have slightly below 20 million in cap space, so doubt they can up the offer any.

Most good DTs are felt more than they are seen...by that I mean you need them in there doing the dirty work so others can make splash plays...every now and again they get some glory.

Biggest reason I would be leery of paying these bigs hefty contract long term...you never know just how close to the edge they are from falling off the cliff.

I'd imagine age is involved here. If Suh was Sheldon's age, he'd ask for $20 million.

Still, I'd imagine Sheldon should only be worth 11-12 million. Then again, thats probably what Sammy Watkins and Trumaine Johnson should've gotten.

Yep, but he's wanting 15 ... I can't imagine Seattle would pay that for him... Sheldon is good, he's a great run stuffer, but even at 31 Suh is the more dominant player, by far...

Agreed. I think he has potential to be even better in 2018, especially with another year in a 4-3, but $15m is a lot for an interior defender who I wouldn't exactly categorize as elite. Jarran Reed and Naz Jones played pretty well for the Seahawks inside, so I'd be comfortable saving the money and rolling with those two on the interior.
