I have updated, for a final time, the list of commits (with the rankings I came up with) with the coach that gets credit for recruiting them. It's the fourth post down in the OP

I did not spend much time looking at recruiting this year.

Biggest interest for me is Barrett Pickering. Only one position relies on one guy, the kicking game. A kicker has to be a good to great golfer, as it is mostly mental. If he cannot be consistent at kicking FGs, oh my.

Other players of interest are;

Will Honas, I am really hoping he is a beast of a LB. Nebraska has not had one since Lavonte David.

Maurice Washington and Greg Bell, WOW. With what we think the Scott Frost offense is, these two could be very dynamic.

As I said before, Greg Bell is my starter. I expect EVERY JUCO player coming in to be a starter.

No clue about Breon Dixon. Something tells me there is something else going on in the background.

Biggest Concern

Offensive tackles. You could add the entire O Line too, but tackles are a real problem.

2018 season is another transition season for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and us fans. I have set my expectations very low. Scott Frost has inherited a team coming off a 4-8 season, and looks to be worse and needs a whole lot of change.

To me, Nebraska's strongest position group is the defensive line for 2018. And it was not very good in 2017.

118. team sacks 1.17 per game tied with Oregon State
128. Tackles for loss 3.7 per game, only East Carolina was worse. East Carolina finished 3-9 in 2017.
114. Total Rushing defense

on the DL - based on what we heard about "the strain" they weren't even attempting to do much of anything other than keep O-linemen off of the LBs, i think there will be a large improvement there.

i agree on O-line. hope they can get their shit together so this SF offense can get going. i think the pieces are there in the skill position, just need that o-line to block a little and find a QB that can get the ball distributed, whether it be POB, TG, or whomever.

....

I said the team needed a whole lot of change.

Something like 51 new players on the roster.

36.4% of the players on the roster have been added since December 2017.

That is a whole lot of change.

In just the last 3 seasons, iowa and Wisconsin games only, we gave them 7 turnovers more than they gave us. Most of those was TA, but TL would have certainly challenged that given another year

Honestly though, without Tommy Armstrong, that 9-4 season was probably more like a 6-7 season at best.

That dude bailed MR out over and over and over again by extending horrid playcalls with his feet.

I have rewatched a lot of those games and it is incredible how many plays were busts from the snap and tommy would buy enough time scrambling that he’d eventually find someone downfield.

We almost beat Wisconsin twice with TA the two previous games with them before the boy took over last year, Lee was not even half the QB or person that Armstrong is
I girl friend of mine met lee before the start of fall camp, not at the pub it was like a grocery store, she said he was a real prick to her, dude didn’t give a fuck about anyone but himself

Take away those turnovers and we win all of those games with the exception of iowa last year, mostly because we had a shit qb that one

Yea, I mean he was using Nebraska as an opportunity to boost himself.

When I think back to last year’s team I almost get sick. That group was so fraudulent across the board. There was zero camaraderie. Just a bunch of individuals playing for themselves, with a coaching staff more clueless than a group of 17 year old blonde chicks.
