Ducks would not only lose their HC, and it looks like an assistant
Poor Miss State has to play their bowl with no head coach, OC, DC or starting QB...

Thanksgiving weekend has been rough for you since 2012 and you think the Miss St coach is gonna change things?

You forgot his wife, she said we are moving and Saban said yes ma'am.Well the agents and such work these deals, so I could see the offer being in place before meeting. They are familiar with him etc.
I know when Saban came to Alabama Saban had very little to do with the process until the very end. Before then it was all talks to his agent.
Yes... yes we will.. it's going to be different..#relentlessThanksgiving weekend has been rough for you since 2012 and you think the Miss St coach is gonna change things?

Hey, they are moving in the right direction though. Last year they lost their 4-8 coach so progress...Poor OD. Losing his 7-5 coach along with some recruits and Chip Kelly already locked in with UCLA.
Yes... yes we will.. it's going to be different..#relentless
No way he is taking the Oregon plan to go talk to FSU. That would be all kinds of issues.Taggart was in Arizona talking to a recruit this morning and hopped on another plane 2 hours ago. Someone reported he is stopping somewhere in Texas for another recruiting visit and then earlier reports were he would be heading to Florida.
If there is going to be an announcement today it won't be for at least a few more hours. Sometime in the evening on the East coast.
YES.. last 3 coaches Meyer/Muschamp/McElwain meyer was a head coach at bowling green then Utah BEFORE he took Ivey at UF.. Muschamp was hc in waiting at Texas.. not a headcoach .. and mcelwain had only coached 2 years prior to Fl head coach.. Dan mullen has been a head coach for 9 years and before that was our oc during 2 NC runs.. took a team that was 32-69.. from to 69-45... being ranked #1 during his tenure and several top 15 finishes during his time there.. its going to be different i guarantee you that.. you have no idea what your getting at allYes should totally be different than the last 3-4 coaches.

Pretty sure there were recruits in Florida he was going to talk to as well. I mean most of their commits are from that state and it's where all of his ties are. So he can both talk to recruits and FSU.No way he is taking the Oregon plan to go talk to FSU. That would be all kinds of issues.
Based on what I learned late Sunday night, UO feels like its nearing the end of its patience with Taggart. Athletic director Rob Mullens offered a $20 million contract extension to Taggart. It wasn't signed. Mullens now finds himself in drawn-out negotiations with Taggart's agent, Jimmy Sexton. One university source said Taggart's agent is demanding a more substantial financial commitment, one that may ultimately be used as leverage in a potential negotiation with Florida State.
But something has changed. Oregon's patience level with Taggart, I think. Because as transparent has the Ducks coach was with Mullens and the UO, at least initially, something in the relationship shifted on Sunday. It left key insiders feeling taxed and discouraged. It was the first time I wondered if Taggart might be venturing into dangerous territory with his employer.
"We have no idea how to interpret the lack of communication and information," said one athletic department source.
God I love Canzano...
Canzano: Extension? Or moving trucks? Oregon Ducks need an end to Willie Taggart saga
Lots of good stuff in there about how people in the ducks AD office are dealing with all of this drama. Basically they are in the shit or get off the pot mindset and have been scrambling behind the scenes to make plans for replacing a staff and recovering the loss of recruits if/when Taggart leaves.
