Maybe he used to be. But his Trump fixation has reduced him to just another distracted celebrity.

It was kind of obvious, at least twice last night Pop left the bench to tweet nasty things about Trump, during the GAME. Check the Twitter timeline.

generally speaking I agree. will say Guardians of the Galaxy2 was actually in some ways better than the first one, though...

and speaking of unfortunate sequels I understand there's another Matrix coming out with Michael B. Jordan as the new Neo...
Fuck that.

I love that kid.

But, no!!!!!

They remade Dirty Dancing and it comes out this week.

I want to fucking riot.

12 - 0 start. In 60 years of the NBA its been done... never.

I guess some people are hard to impress. :noidea:

To be fair, earlier playoff rounds used to be shorter. So, while they are the first to go 12-0. The 1998-89 and 2000-01 Lakers each went 11-0 when the first round was only 5 games.

Yeah, its just kind of a strange anomaly that they both lost their next game. 89 lakers got swept in the Finals (but I think Magic got hurt, right?). 01 Lakers lost the first game in the Finals, but then won the next 4.

I think the '01 Lakers overall 15 - 1 record is safe. (I hope :hope:)

I'll always remember that one for the sea of fans leaving the game early then desperately trying to re-enter the arena after Allen's lucky shot. It was sickening seeing all those lemmings scrambling trying to get their fat asses back to their seats. Never has there been a shittier fan base than that of the Heat in NBA history.

By a "sea", you mean a few dozen people, then sure. The arena seemed pretty full when he hit that shot.

There has never in NBA history been a team this good. An amazing run through the playoffs and three years of complete dominance.

And up until this point you've criticized every little single thing they did. You're not a fan of the. Hence, fuck off.

Don't need to tell myself shit. It's noted generally on this forum that your opinion of pretty much anything means dick. You thinking that I'm a shit fan and part of a shittier fanbase really doesn't have an affect on my day-to-day. Now, the fact that not one single Warriors fan on this thread can stand you is very telling......

Yeah, the Lakers lost Byron and Magic. They lost Byron before the series started and Magic in game 1. They actually have the distinction of being the only team to sweep their way to the finals and then get swept in the finals.

Yeah, I think the Cavs will take at least 2 from the Warriors. I don't think they can beat the Warriors, but I won't rule it out either because...Lebron.

It's going to be interesting to see what Lebron can do in this series. I agree with those who say that he's playing arguably the best he has in his career, but he's also been playing a ton of minutes and they just had an extra game added that he didn't need to be playing in with that loss. Plus, even though he had "rest games" during the season, he still logged a lot of minutes.

It'll be interesting to see if he has enough left in the tank to come up with another effort like he did last year. Especially late in games. The guys an athletic freak, but he's also 32 and has lots of mileage on him.

What does impress me about the Warriors is that the transition with KD has been FLAWLESS for the most part. I do expect them to win the Finals handedly

Even though your postings are nonsensical, I'll give you another rainbow emoticon since you are such a proud gay man.

This is my favorite part, when you get exposed and get all mad and triggered. Keep it coming!

So question...back then did they have the "this Finals doesn't count because so and so was hurt" narrative like they do today? I don't really remember that being a thing in the 90's, or even early 2000's

If George Hill and Leonard doesn't go down then I think they lose 3 games. I think Utah takes a game at home with Hill healthy and the Spurs win at least 2. They were obviously going to win G1 before Leonard went down and I highly doubt Warriors win 4 in a row with Leonard in the lineup.

I don't think the Warriors were going to lose against the Jazz. George Hill going down means nothing to me.

Kawhi going down however was a significant difference. I think the Dubs would've went 6.

It's impressive that the Dubs haven't had a let down game given that they're doing what they're supposed to be doing. But it's not impressive in the grand scheme of things in terms of the injuries that other teams have had - more specifically the Spurs who were really the only team that could contend out West.
